Isaac's 2nd Birthday

Well, it's official.  He's been acting like a two-year-old for several months, but now he finally is two.  Isaac's birthday was a huge, weekend long celebration.  It all started with a trip to COSI in the morning for some fun at the water table, gadget area, and toy zone.  Then, after naps, we went camping!  Since Isaac loves camping, we thought it would be a great way to celebrate being 2.

When we woke up in the morning, we went down to the lake of the campground to see Super Uncle David and Super Aunt Alice swim, bike, and run in a triathlon.  It was pretty awesome.  Our special triathletes dressed in super hero costumes and earned our respect with their athletic prowess.

Triathlons make me hungry.
After that, we drove the camper down to Cincinnati to see Nonna and Auntie Hanann.  They took us to the Cincinnati Library book sale and made home made ice cream cake for Isaac's big day.

Lilla had fun at the celebration too!
The next morning, we got up and went to King's Island with Auntie Hanann and her friend, Sarah.  The kids got to play at the water park and had so much fun.

When we returned home, we had the chance to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa.  They bought Isaac two trucks for the two-year-old.  He was ecstatic.
Steam shovel!
When it comes to birthdays, we go big or we go home.  Or sometimes, as in this case, we do both.
